Chief Finance Officer
Kelly’s career in the NHS started in 2005 before she joined the NHS Graduate Financial Management Training Scheme in 2007.
She has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants for more than ten years and worked across various sectors in a number of financial management roles prior to joining Bolton CCG eight years ago. Kelly was appointed acting chief finance officer in October 2020 and has responsibility for finance, informatics, contracts and estates.
Kelly is a system-wide thinker and is passionate about tackling financial challenges across the borough. She is motivated by the changes being taken forward by the NHS and its partners; as health and social care becomes more integrated and new delivery models are developed, she is focused on developing a 'population health' approach to get the best the value for the public sector pound.
She is passionate about protecting the health sector for future generations and is a role model for the values that brought her into the NHS.
