Equalities and Experience Reference Group (EERG)
Around 30 members of the public from across Bolton, Salford and Wigan shared their thoughts on proposals to improve health services for the future at the latest Equalities and Experience Reference Group (EERG).
The EERG was hosted on the afternoon of 18th July, by Bolton CCG at Friends Meeting House.
This was on behalf of the Bolton, Salford and Wigan Partnership which is made up of NHS organisations including, NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group and Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
The main topic for discussion was on choice in personalised care.
The EERG was established to ensure that the patient voice is included is at the centre of transformation work taking place in Bolton Salford and Wigan.
