World Mental Health Day event
Coronavirus has had a profound impact on many people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.
That’s why people are being encouraged to take part in an online event to mark the upcoming World Mental Health Day.
The event on October 9 has been organised by Bolton Community Voluntary Services (CVS) and NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group in partnership with organisations across the borough.
It will be an opportunity to find out more about the wellbeing support available in Bolton. People can also take part in activities including a ‘happiness class’, mindfulness exercises and guided meditation.
The event will take place on Microsoft Teams and people can register here.
A link to join, and a confirmed timetable of sessions, will be sent to those who have registered on the morning of October 9. People can then decide if they want to take part in the whole session or dip in and out of certain activities.
Those who take part do not need to turn on their camera or contribute vocally. The chat function will be active if participants want to make comments or ask questions.
