Measles - don't let your child catch it
Sadly, the number of children catching measles is rising in Greater Manchester, that’s why it’s important that your child is fully protected before they start the new school year.
To get the best protection for your child they need to have two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. If your child hasn’t had both doses they will be more at risk.
Green inhalers
More and more people in Greater Manchester with asthma and COPD are switching to more modern green inhalers.
Many people find greener inhalers relieve their symptoms at least as well as other inhalers or even better.
They are more convenient to use and are better for the environment.
Respiratory reviews
If you have asthma or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), it’s important that you continue to manage your symptoms well so you can carry on doing all the things you want to!
That’s why your GP practice will invite you for an asthma review once a year – more often for some people.
